I've been doing a lot of secret crafting this month, and one of the projects I finally get to share with you is the pair of Angry Birds I made for my nephew Rhys' fourth birthday!
I used a couple free patterns from Adorable Amigurumi to crochet these with some Berroco Vintage from my stash. My sister texted me a photo of Rhys with his new toys and I think it's safe to say he liked them - they were even wearing party hats!
I also finished the destash sock yarn hat from WIP Wednesday! I freestyled it on #2 needles with Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock in Douglas Fir and Chocolate, finishing with a fun pom-pom!

Your angry birds are awesome. I made a set for my husband and he uses them to throw at the cat when she scratching things she ought not to be scratching :)
ReplyDeleteHa, I love it! I may have to make myself a set, that could really come in handy!
DeleteCute angry birds; they will be very popular. Can't wait to see your finished Elfe (sp?) I really would love to make this. Trying to be good and finish other projects, but you are tempting me and I would use the same colors.
ReplyDeleteLove the angry birds! Hat looks very nice too :)
ReplyDeleteAngry birds! Awesome! My boys LOVE the games. I'm sure they'd love it if I made them some crocheted birds like those! And the hat is lovely...I especially love the colors!
ReplyDeleteOh, such cute Angry Birds! I have painted a few and they make me happy!
ReplyDeleteStopping by from Tami's...
